Forest Beach Hotel Großschönau

In the vicinity of forested hills and about three joyful jumps from the crystal-clear natural water of a dreamlike beach bath, the Forest Beach Hotel Großschönau is located in the Trixi Holiday Park Zittauer Gebirge. Right in front of the hotel door, wonderful hiking trails begin, which are also great for biking when there is no snow. Then we recommend strapping on cross-country skis.

Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the hotel, in combination with the Trixi Bad, offers you a variety of pampering services, and the spacious bathing and sauna area invites you to relax.

The forest beach pool located at the hotel (June-August) with a water surface of 20,000 sqm and a large non-swimmer area is the ideal place for cooling off in summer. In addition to numerous children’s attractions such as the water-mud playground and the toddler playground, there is a walrus slide, a 10 m diving tower, a rowboat rental, beach volleyball courts, a soccer field, mini-golf, and a sunbathing lawn for soaking up the sun.
The Zittauer Gebirge is suitable for activities of all kinds. On culturally rich excursions, you can learn about fascinating architecture, unique history, or technological achievements. You can work off energy both in summer and winter by hiking, biking, tobogganing, skiing, climbing in the climbing forest (about 500 m), or horseback riding.
