Holiday home Dunja is a traditional Upper Lusatian Umgebinde house. It is located in the spa town of Oybin - the pearl of the Zittau Mountains. Picturesquely and extremely quietly situated in the Oybiner "Hölle", a small access road. The beautiful garden property directly borders a climbing rock, which is located on our property. We have forest access, where you can reach the "Talringweg" directly. The Goldbach river flows through our property.

The Dunja house was completely renovated and furnished anew in 2021/22 and offers space for up to 10 people and max. 5 dogs. If you have smaller dog breeds and wish to travel with more than five animals, please inquire. Please note the low ceiling height of partly only 2.00m!!!

Two additional beds are possible upon request, and a children's bed is available.

Outdoor whirlpool, sauna, TV in each bedroom, dining room, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, fence.

A small but very clear natural swimming pond, about 2 meters deep with bathing ladders, is located about 300-400 meters from the house in the spa park, which is about a 5-minute walk. There is 1 parking space at the house, and additional parking options (for a fee, currently €5.00 per day) are located 300 meters away.

The neighborhood:

The spa town of Oybin is considered the pearl of the Zittau Mountains and lies in the tri-border area of Germany - Czech Republic - Poland. The large district town of Zittau can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. The Olbersdorfer See with several bathing beaches is about 10 minutes by car from Oybin. The spa town of Oybin offers a variety of interesting and even breathtaking sights and excursion destinations. The majestic Oybin Mountain with its mountain church, castle and monastery ruins not only resembles a film set but also offers a unique view over the Zittau Mountains.

From the Oybin train station, the historic Zittau narrow gauge railway departs towards Zittau. A ride with full steam should definitely be part of your holiday program. Also from the Oybin train station, one can take double-decker buses and the little train for tours through the Zittau Mountains.

In the village center itself, you will find the spa park, various shops, and numerous restaurants and cafes. Typical for Upper Lusatia, the Zittau Mountains, and also for the spa town of Oybin are our historically protected Umgebinde houses, some over 300 years old. These practically invite you to complete photo safaris.

About 1,500 meters from the holiday home, you can find the gigantic chalice stones, which are among the most photographed rock formations in the Zittau Mountains.
